In September 2007 the English Riviera received international recognition for its rich geological, historical and cultural heritage and became just one of 57 areas around the world to be endorsed by UNESCO and was welcomed into both the European and Global Geopark networks. Situated within the stunning rolling hills of South Devon, the English Riviera’s geology has created the beautiful coastline of today.

Hoburne Torbay is the ideal location to spend some time if you wish to visit the Geopark as it is situated in the heart of the area. In fact, it’s only a 15 minute walk away from the Seashore Centre at Goodrington Sands and the Saltern Cove Trail.
